1st Icon is no ordinary Beer. It is Next Generation, because it takes craft beer to a different level. 1st Icon is Handcrafted in London.
Beer is considered one of the world's oldest prepared beverages. Evidence exists that beer was produced during the Pre-Pottery Neolithic period which lasted from around 8500 BC to 5500 BC. Archaeologists believe that beer was instrumental in the formation of civilisations. Approximately 5000 years ago, while the Great Pyramids in Giza, Egypt was being built, each worker is understood to have received a daily ration of four to five litres of beer, which served as both nutrition and refreshment very crucial to the pyramids' construction.

Pilsner (also pilsener or simply pils) is a type of pale lager. It takes its name from the Bohemian city of Pilsen, where it was first produced in 1842. The world’s first blond lager, the original Pilsner Urquell, is still produced there today.

Beer is usually served ice cold and consumed in large quantities Craft beer is served at the right temperature, given the chance to warm a bit to release its flavours, allowing the aficionado to admire the color, the head and the nose of the beer.
Beer can make you feel full and bloated as it may be made with cheaper ingredients such as corn, rice and other adjuncts. Craft beer on the contrary, is brewed with select ingredients, ensuring quality beer full of flavours. It is well worth a little extra for a more enjoyable experience.

It is brewed in a London-based craft brewery making great beer using mineral water abstracted from deep underneath London’s clay. 1st Icon is iconic in many ways. It is made by combining modern innovations with traditional methods. Inspired by the worldwide craft beer movement, the idea was to create an Icon, while staying true to the four key ingredients that make all our beers – grain, yeast, hops and water.
